Grenton system in a private house with view of the Tatra Mountains.

Set against one of the most picturesque landscapes in Poland, with a panorama of the Tatra Mountains in the background, this private single-family home brings together modern architecture and smart home technology. The Grenton Smart Home System works discreetly here, adapting to the daily life of its residents and bringing the building’s key functions together in one system.

The 500 m² home consists of a ground floor, an upper floor, and an underground garage. Large glazings open up to the mountain landscape, while spacious interiors create a sense of freedom and comfort. Natural materials dominate inside: wood, marble, and elegant, minimalist surfaces. The entire project is kept in a premium style, where every element serves both a practical and an aesthetic purpose.

The character of the investment is emphasised by open living areas, a striking staircase, panoramic windows, and carefully planned lighting. In a space like this, technology could not dominate the architecture — it had to be designed to support the residents discreetly, day after day.

Grenton technology tailored to the residents’ lifestyle

In this project, the Grenton Smart Home System integrates the key functionalities that shape everyday comfort. Residents can manage the home from glass-finished Grenton Smart Panels and Touch Panels, as well as through the myGrenton app on a tablet or smartphone.

The implemented functionalities include, among others:

  • Lighting and lighting scene control – the system makes it easy to manage light throughout the home, and pre-programmed lighting scenes change the atmosphere of any interior with a single touch.

  • LED strip control – subtle backlights accentuate built-in furniture and selected design details, creating an elegant ambience after dark.

  • Motion sensors triggering staircase lighting – the lights in circulation areas turn on automatically when needed. It’s a solution that combines safety, comfort, and aesthetics.
  • Automatic facade lighting – after dark, the system highlights the building’s form and modern architecture, creating a striking exterior setting for the house.

  • Temperature management across the whole home and in individual rooms – residents can adjust conditions to the role of each zone: one setting for the living room, another for the bedroom, and yet another for the home gym.

  • Blind control – automated blinds make it easy to regulate daylight and privacy in interiors with large glazings.

  • Audio system integration – music played through ceiling speakers can accompany the residents in various parts of the house, including the home gym.

Minimalist control in an elegant interior

One of the most important goals of this project was to maintain consistency between technology and interior design. In a home dominated by natural marble, glass, wood, and refined surfaces, traditional control over many separate installations could have disrupted the aesthetics of the project.

That is why the system is managed via glass-finished Grenton Smart Panels and Touch Panels. Their minimalist form fits naturally into the modern character of the interiors, while allowing convenient control of the home’s most important functions.

The panels are complemented by the myGrenton app, available on a tablet and smartphone, which lets residents manage the home remotely — adjusting lighting, temperature, blinds, or music without the need for multiple separate apps and remotes.

Technology that stays in the background

This Podhale project shows that a smart home does not have to mean visible technology. Here, the Grenton System works in the background — organising the operation of many installations, automating everyday tasks, and allowing residents to use the home in a more intuitive way.

It is a project where luxurious design, advanced automation, and minimalist control come together as a coherent whole.
