Integrating audio with the Grenton Smart Home System creates new possibilities for using smart home functionality.
It makes it possible to dynamically adapt the audio to different scenes, such as ‘Wake-up’ with a favourite playlist, or ‘Cinema’ with automatic setting of the audio source and volume level in the living room. The integration allows audio operation to be matched to readings from home sensors, such as motion, as well as to operate within pre-programmed schedules.
In addition, integration with multiroom functionality is also available from Grenton, which allows different songs to be played in each room independently, or audio to be synchronised throughout the home. Thanks to the connection to the smart home system, it is also possible to switch individual audio devices on and off from the panel or the myGrenton app.
